Hole in One Pilates is the one golf exercise program that will help you hit the ball consistently farther and straighter, with reduced risk of injury and back pain.
Developed by Sarah Christensen with input from Butch Harmon, Hole in One Pilates builds strength and flexibility simultaneously, develops core strength, improves posture and alignment, and creates stability. All the elements needed for a great swing!
Pilates is a technique for moving in a way that is the most natural, efficient and pain free. It is not just exercises for in the gym or at home, but a certain way we move in everything we do in life. Hole in One Pilates takes these techniques right out onto the course. You'll learn to tee off, chip and putt, walk the course and even lift a toast afterwards using the Pilates technique.
While some of the exercises and stretches may look familiar, it is an understanding of the underlying Pilates techniques that make them so powerful. Interestingly enough, once the Hole in One Pilates techniques can be executed without thinking about them, the body will start to move in the Pilates way on its own! While traditional Pilates work will of course improve your golf swing, the Hole in One Pilates program is designed specifically to improve the biomechanics needed for a great swing, plus we have modified many of the exercises for easier execution by men.
